This decorative tabletop sculpture depicts a stylized human head at one end, blowing a long cylindrical wind instrument that spans the piece. The sculpture rests on three contact points: the head base and two sculpted hanging-hand supports beneath the instrument, allowing self-standing display on a mantel, shelf or wooden table.
The surface has an intentionally distressed, antique metallic look: brushed, uneven patina visible as metallic silver in two images and as a reddish-copper painted variation in one image. Textured, irregular rough patches appear across the form, including deliberate dripping/melting shapes on the hands and below the instrument for a weathered, artistic effect.
